All reservations must be guaranteed by valid card details (type, 16 digit card number, expiry date & three digit security code) which will then be charged with a 10% non-refundable deposit of your stay at point of booking and confirmed with a written confirmation. The outstanding amount is due upon check-out.
All suites are available after 15.00. Arrival before then is subject to availability, please check prior If a later arrival than 22.00 is anticipated please let us know.
Suites should be vacated by 11 am. Please be aware that late checkout only where possible and in accordance with management and charges might incur if time is extended.
We reserve the right to charge for any items that have been inadvertently taken from the room, damages caused or through an oversight have been excluded on your final bill.
We must comply with certain noise restrictions, licensing and statutory regulations, and we require you to fulfil their obligations in this respect.
Due to our limited number of rooms we need to enforce that once checked in an early departure fee of the full amount will be charged if guests check-out 24 prior or more to their departure date. If we are able to re-let the room this charge will be waived.
All cancellations must be confirmed in writing. No charge 21 days before day of arrival. Thereafter the reservation costs will be due in their entirety. We will endeavour to resell the room and then no charge or a charge for those days we are unable to re-let will occur. We earnestly advise all guests to take out holiday or travel insurance in order to protect you against financial loss as we will enforce these cancellations terms due to the limited number of rooms.
Is available to guests staying at no charge prior and after stay. Or planning to return to Glencoe House in the near future, then you leave extra luggage or equipment at no extra charge.
Please advise the hotel of any special dietary needs or other requirements such as mobility issues you may have prior to arrival.
Whilst every effort will be made to fulfil any of your requests, unfortunately we cannot guarantee these and a failure to do so will not constitute a breach of contract. If we feel unable to properly accommodate the particular needs of persons concerned, we reserve the right to decline the reservation.
Third party services
If we assist in any services supplied by a third party such as bike or boat hire, outdoor activities we advise to consult the company’s own terms and conditions after making a booking as we are not liable in case of breach of contract.
Third party bookings
All bookings done through a third party can not be changed or cancelled through Glencoe House but must be done with the third party. They will then contact Glencoe House.
Any comments regarding your stay should be made in the first instance with the duty manager at the time of your stay so that all reasonable efforts can be made to rectify the situation at the time of occurrence. In the unlikely event that you want to complain any verbal notification must be put in writing and handed in as soon as possible. No liability can be accepted if you fail to notify the problem according to this procedure.
Pets are welcome at the discretion of the management. We reserve the right to not allow pets if no prior notice has been given.
There is free parking available at Glencoe House. In addition to our outside parking facilities we can accommodate 4 cars in our secure garage on site.
Glencoe House is non-smoking throughout its premises. There is a designated smoking area at the main entrance. If we are unable to re-let rooms due to smoking, the full amount will be charged to cover loss of revenue and we will levy a fine for additional cleaning.
A confirmed booking constitutes a legal agreement between the customer and Glencoe House.
